I would love to have a go with this myself and take on the likes of Bongo Bongo or King Dodongo… or just try to make my way across Hyrule Field before the gate closes at dusk. This is probably due in large part to the 90 fps frame rate, but it reminds me somewhat of the upscale in Ocarina of Time‘s graphics from the Nintendo 64 to the 3DS some time ago. I really appreciate how clean this mod looks.

Some of the added differences between BrianMP16’s mod and Kaze’s original are improved draw distance, removal of the player’s HUD, and a drastically increased frame rate. The original mod was something we covered here.

This mod builds off of an existing VR mod made by Kaze Emanuar. And while the mod does not currently support motion controls - as the Dolphin VR emulator does not have that capability - the demonstration does give us an idea of what motion controls would look like, as BrianMP16 swings his arms to imitate Link’s sword swings when pressing the attack button. As the clip plays, several of the King of Evil’s attacks are shown, as well as a few of Link’s moves such as firing of the Light Arrow.
